Terrace Walk is a short, easy stroll in Franz Josef that offers a fascinating glimpse into the dynamic landscape shaped by the Franz Josef Glacier. The walk winds through a series of glacial terraces, revealing how the glacier has retreated and left behind a mosaic of moraines, lush rainforest, and braided river channels. It's a perfect introduction to the area's geology and a great leg-stretcher after a long drive.
