Suggested Time to Spend
Most visitors spend one or two nights in Mount Cook Village. With one full day, you can tackle the Hooker Valley Track (3–4 hours return) and add the Tasman Glacier walk (1–2 hours). With two days, include a boat tour on Tasman Lake, the Sealy Tarns Track for a tougher hike, or a scenic flight over the glaciers. Stargazing is a must-do in the evening.
