Allow 2–3 days to cycle the full trail at a relaxed pace, staying overnight in Roxburgh or Alexandra. Most riders complete the trail in two days, with the option to break it into shorter sections. Walkers can tackle sections over 3–4 days. The trail is well-signposted and suitable for families, with plenty of cafes and rest stops along the way.
