Suggested Time to Spend

The walk itself takes only 20–30 minutes round trip, but plan to spend at least an hour if you linger watching the seals. It’s a perfect quick stop on your way to or from Franz Josef Glacier, or as a gentle morning or afternoon outing. Arrive early or late in the day for fewer crowds and better seal activity.
