Suggested Time to Spend

Most visitors spend a few hours to half a day in Kurow itself, but it's an ideal base for a night or two if you want to explore the wider Waitaki Valley. Stop for a coffee and a wander, then continue on to Oamaru or Omarama. Anglers and wine lovers may want to linger longer.
