Peregrine Wines

Perched on a rocky outcrop overlooking the Kawarau Gorge, Peregrine Wines is as much an architectural statement as it is a winery. The dramatic, wing-like roof seems to hover above the tasting room, echoing the region's falcons and offering sweeping views across the vines. This is one of Central Otago's most photogenic cellar doors, where award-winning Pinot Noir and aromatic whites are poured with genuine passion.

Highlights & What to See

Suggested Time to Spend

Budget 45 minutes to an hour for a relaxed tasting and photo stop. If you're planning to linger over a glass on the terrace, allow 90 minutes. Most visitors combine Peregrine with other Gibbston Valley cellar doors in a half-day wine tour.
