The lake stretches from Cromwell to Clyde, offering a scenic backdrop for outdoor adventures and a relaxed pace of life.

Highlights & What to See

Suggested Time to Spend

Plan at least two full days to experience Lake Dunstan properly. Spend one day cycling the trail (allow 4–6 hours for the full route, or shuttle shorter sections) and another exploring Cromwell's heritage precinct, visiting wineries, and taking a boat trip. If you're short on time, a half-day drive around the lake with stops at key viewpoints and a winery lunch is worthwhile.
