Spanning the dramatic Kawarau River, this historic bridge is best known as New Zealand's original bungy jumping site. The 43-metre drop into the turquoise gorge is a rite of passage for adrenaline seekers, but even if you're not jumping, the bridge offers stunning views of the schist cliffs and river below, making it a worthwhile stop on the road between Queenstown and Arrowtown.
