Blue Pools, nestled in the Makarora Valley within Mount Aspiring National Park, are a mesmerizing natural wonder. The crystal-clear, turquoise waters of the Blue River are fed by glacial melt, creating an almost surreal hue. A short, easy walk through lush beech forest leads you to swing bridges that offer stunning views of the pools and the surrounding mountains. It's a must-stop on any journey along the Haast Pass Highway.
