Pupu Springs, also known as Te Waikoropupū Springs, are a natural wonder on New Zealand's West Coast. These are the largest freshwater springs in the country and among the clearest waters ever measured, with visibility up to 63 metres. The springs emerge from a deep limestone aquifer, creating a surreal turquoise pool surrounded by native forest. It's a place of immense cultural significance to Māori, who consider the waters sacred — a fact that adds a profound layer of respect to any visit.
