Blenheim is the sun-drenched heart of Marlborough wine country, where endless rows of Sauvignon Blanc vines stretch across the Wairau Valley. This laid-back town is New Zealand’s largest wine-producing region, and its golden climate and relaxed pace make it a perfect base for cycling between cellar doors, exploring river trails, and sampling some of the country’s best food and wine.
Highlights & What to See
- Marlborough Wine Trail: Cycle or drive between dozens of cellar doors, including Cloudy Bay, Brancott Estate, and Allan Scott. Many offer tastings, platters, and vineyard tours.
