Allow 3 to 5 days to complete the full 137 km trail, which is divided into five sections. Most cyclists take 4 days, staying overnight in small towns like Hokitika, Ross, and Kumara. You can also pick shorter day rides, such as the 20 km Greymouth to Shantytown loop. The trail is well-graded and suitable for intermediate riders, with e-bike hire available.
